How can we help?

Email [email protected] and a person at Cynaptic Technologies will answer. It helps to include your phone’s model, its Android version, the game’s version (in Android’s Settings › Apps › Space Beavers) and what you saw.

How do I restore Full Apparatus?

Full Apparatus is a one-time purchase, tied to the Google account you bought it with. On a new phone or after reinstalling, make sure the Play Store is signed in to that account and open the game: it checks with Google Play and turns Full Apparatus back on. If it doesn’t, tap Restore purchases in the game’s store. Restoring costs nothing.

Full Apparatus goes on sale a while after launch; until then the game shows it as “coming soon”.

I bought Chips but didn’t get them.

Chips are added once Google Play confirms the payment, which can take a minute. Check that you’re online, then close and reopen the game. If they still haven’t arrived after a day, email us with the order number from Google’s receipt email (it starts with GPA.).

Payments and refunds are handled by Google Play: see Google’s refund help.

I lost my progress. Can I get it back?

The game saves on your phone as you play. It also keeps a copy of your progress (Chips, Full Apparatus, unlocked modes and traits) in Google Play Games, in your own Google account. When you open the game signed in to the same Play Games account, it picks that copy up again.

A run in progress is saved only on the phone, so it doesn’t come back after the game is uninstalled or its storage is cleared. We have no copy of anyone’s game, so we can’t restore one from our side.

How do I move to a new phone?

Install the game on the new phone and sign in to Google Play Games with the same Google account. Your Chips, unlocked modes and traits come across, and Full Apparatus is restored from Google Play. If you played on both phones, nothing is lost: the game keeps the larger of each total. Saves don’t move between Android and iPhone.

How do ads work? How do I change my ad consent?

Ads are only ever your choice: the game offers a short video in return for something in a run, and you can always say no. There are no ads between screens and no banners, and there’s a daily limit.

In the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland, Google asks before the first ad whether ads may be personalized. To change your answer, anywhere, open the game’s settings and tap Privacy choices. You can also reset or delete your advertising ID in Android’s settings (usually Settings › Privacy › Ads). See the privacy policy for what ads collect.

How do I delete my data?

  • On your phone: uninstall the game, or clear its storage in Settings › Apps › Space Beavers › Storage.
  • Your cloud save: delete it in the Google Play Games settings.
  • Analytics and purchase records: tap Request data deletion in the game’s settings, or email [email protected]. We delete them within 30 days.
  • Analytics and crash reports from now on: turn them off in the game’s settings.

Does it work offline?

Yes. The game plays entirely on your phone. Ads, purchases and cloud saves need a connection; your cloud save catches up the next time you’re online.

Is there an iPhone version?

Not yet. Space Beavers is coming to Android first, and to iPhone later.
